Spartak Moscow beat Tom

Last year's top-scorer Welliton has notched up his second hat-trick in two Russian Premier League games to help Spartak Moscow beat Tom 4-2 and move closer to the top five.
The first half ended scoreless but Welliton seemed to have put on his striking boots during the interval. The Brazilian striker fired home three goals – two of them headers – in just six minutes to all-but hand Spartak the win. Sergey Kornilenko did pull one back for Tomsk midway through the second, nodding in Kim Nam Il's free kick. Yet another Brazilian was lying in the wings; Alex curved in a perfect kick of his own with three minutes to go to make it 4-1 for the hosts. Things turned dramatic in the injury time. Spartak keeper Sergey Pesiakov was sent off for bringing down Kornilenko, who himself stepped up to convert the penalty for his and Tom's second. Kornilenko walked out with his head held high, but it was Spartak who picked up the three points and move closer to fifth Rostov.
